Course Overview
A Value Stream Map provides an integrated description of how a product passes through all stages of production. The material, Process and the information flows are considered. Value Stream Mapping is an essential means to see the value addition and continuously improve them. Value Stream Mapping offers a series of advantages of the tremendous potential to eliminate MUDA (WASTE) on the shop floor.

A Value Stream Map is a powerful tool used to map out the material process and information flow for any manufacturing or administrative process. This powerful tool allows companies to map the flow of products in the back door as raw material, through all manufacturing process steps, and off the loading dock as finished product.

Value stream mapping plays an important role in process/product development and process/product to improve performance and the benefits from the course is :
