Established in 1993, Ma Belle Jewellery has established into one of the major jewellery chain store in Hong Kong since it's inception. With over 40 outlets in Hong Kong and multiple chain stores in China's major cities such as Shanghai and Beijing, the management of Ma Belle recognizes the importance of implementing advanced quality tools to help improve the internal processes and bring to the company to new levels of quality awareness.
As Dr Juran indicated "Quality improvement can only take place by embarking on projects". This philosophy has been openly embraced and adopted by Mr. Ma, the chairman of the company who views the implementation of advanced quality tools as the best way to achieve breakthrough improvement.
The implementation of Six Sigma begins with the project and candidate selection followed by the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) training proper.
Projects were selected in relation to the key components of the operational processes such as Quality, Cost and Delivery. All projects were chosen to closely link with the strategy of the company.
